Award winning director Wesley Enoch, renowned playwright David Milroy, Yirra Yaakin’s artistic director Kyle Morisson and musical director Wayne Freer are now working on a major new Aboriginal musical, to be launched in 2011.

The fantastic result of all the work by the students at Governor Stirling Senior High School and Yirra Yaakin, this is the edited clip of the Hip Hop song, directed by Kyle Morrison, with music written by Scotty ’Optamus’ Griffiths and lyrics by the students. The project was supported by the Federal Dept of Environment, Water, Heritage & The Arts, with further support from Healthway (Respect Yourself, Respect Your Culture), Lotterywest and the Cristensen Foundation.
