On Friday, 13th November 2009, we said "goodbye" to our much loved General Manager, Paul MacPhail. One of the original founding members of Yirra Yaakin, Paul has been a long time visionary of the company working with the Indigenous Community to develop the skills and confidence in all aspects of theatre and arts administration. Paul is now the new General Manager at Country Arts WA. Guests were greeted at the YY Theatre door by a Scottish bagpipe player (homage to Paul’s heritage) and dined on Scottish and Indigenous Australian delicacies.
